Get involved and become a volunteer
Volunteers play a crucial role in our work. At present the majority of our initiatives are carried out by volunteers. See below for our current opportunities, contact us to register your interest, or submit a Volunteer Form and let's talk.
Housing
1) Transportation - Provide rides for residents to and from appointments, classes and meetings.
2) Crisis Care - Help provide 24-hr care by being on call to support house staff if needed. Situations where extra support may be needed include de-escalating situations, emergency situations, doctors/ER visits, staff sickness.
3) Weekend & Evening Activities - Provide and / or facilitate a fun evening or weekend activity for the residents.
4) Mentoring - Provide friendship, prayer and processing space for a resident by meeting with them 2-4 times per month.
6) Tutoring - Provide 1-1 tutoring to residents as and when needed.
Outreach
1) Illicit Massage Parlor Team - Minister to women in illicit massage businesses or pray outside the parlors.
2) Street Reach – Let us know if you are interested in joining a day trip to Oakland or Los Angeles to minister to women working on the streets.
3) Outreach Gifts – Solicit donations and / or buy gifts, put together gift bags for our outreaches.
4) “Here for You” – This online app provides information and support. Help us develop it further and translate material into Mandarin.
